THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
To participate in the BU Commencement Ceremony, all Graduating Students MUST participate in the Commencement Day Procedure Exercise. The purpose of this exercise is to answer certain questions you may have regarding Commencement and your participation in this exciting event. Please refer to the University Office to request scheduled date and link. Defaulters will be exempted from participating in graduation ceremony

Only those students that have completed their course work, submitted thesis, and completed payments are eligible to take part in the Commencement Exercises.

Advice and procedures for all academic students for submitting a print and online copy of your completed thesis to your department and the library.
What is required?
The University regulations require you to provide both hard-bound copies and an electronic copy of your final corrected thesis to be kept and made available by the University Library.

For your name to appear in the Commencement Programme you must have completed your payment for a degree.

To facilitate a smooth submission process, kindly follow these important steps:
1. Upload an electronic copy of your thesis and send it to your supervisor's email.
2. Submit three hard-bound copies of your thesis directly to the University Registrar using a reliable Express Courier Service (such as EMS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). You will receive one copy back after signing on graduation day, while the other two will be retained by the university.
