In our current economic climate, there might be a tendency for some of us Christians to loose sight of Gods eternal promises for us. This could be fueled by the constant messages of doom and gloom regarding the global, economic downturn. Or it could be that you have been affected by it, more than others (e.g. you lost your job, savings, home, etc). Regardless of where you may find yourself today (or tomorrow), we want the scripture in Psalm 37:18-19 to serve as a reminder of Gods promise to you. It says,

"Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive a reward that lasts forever. They will survive through hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough." (NLT)
